analogwave
Live internet radio on a vintage receiver, from BBC to KBS
Nested
analogwave (shown on the site as Past Radio) plays live internet radio inside a vintage-style receiver. On desktop it is a boombox, and on phones it is a pocket FM/AM radio. You can listen in the browser without signing in.
Press play, then change stations with the next and previous buttons. On mobile you can also turn the radio on and off with POWER and move to the next station with the side tuning knob. Stations opens a searchable list. EN mode has 16 stations, including BBC World Service, WNYC and KQED. KO mode switches to 49 Korean channels such as KBS, MBC and SBS.
On English stations, an ANALOG/ORIGINAL switch turns an analog radio sound on or off. The heart button saves a station to My Library. There you can also add a direct MP3, AAC or HLS stream link and play it.
It suits anyone who wants live radio playing in the background while they work.
