NESTED

Sudoku is a stage-based take on the classic 9x9 number puzzle that runs free in the browser with no sign-in. Fill every empty cell so each row, column and 3x3 box holds the digits 1 to 9.

Select a cell and enter a digit with the number pad or keyboard; arrow keys move the selection. On a phone, tapping a cell opens the number keyboard. A wrong digit is not placed and counts as a miss. Notes mode pencils in candidates, and Hint, Undo and Erase sit below the board. Reach the miss limit and the game is over.

There are 20 stages, five each at Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Clearing one unlocks the next, and later stages allow fewer hints and misses. A timer tracks each run, and progress stays after a reload.

It suits puzzle fans who want a steady climb in difficulty on desktop or phone.
